Post Gliders in Dalziel and Pascoe
Hello, I noticed that "Dalziel and Pascoe" had many gliders, but are identified. I have identified them for you...
I also included pic comparisons for extra proof...

First one is a Schleicher ASK-13 2-seat trainer(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schleicher_ASK_13)

Second one that crashed in lake appears to be a ASW-22(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schleicher_ASW_22)

The horses one:

That is NOT a K8, it's a totally different plane. It's a Slingsby T-61 Falke motorglider.

The one parked is also an ASK-13

Hey there Ktlgliderlover! I noticed the help on the wiki. Thank you for that. Great references too. Feel free to tell us a little about yourself and/or how you know so much about gliders on your wiki user page and/or here in the intro section. We'd love to hear more from you.

Almost correct.. The other glider is an ASW-20A - I know because I've flown that specific glider... :-) This episode was shot at Shenington gliding club where I was instructing at the time...

Ok thanks lol..

But I think they use both for that part. I clearly identify it as an ASW-22 for the winch launch sequence and the ASW-20 for the crash. Probably they switched because the 22m span ASW-22 doesn't roll & bank as well as the 15m span ASW-20.

Plus, only 88 ASW-22's have been build so they're rare birds, unlike the ASW-20 with over 900 units built.

Thanks for notifying
