Tupolev 114

Post by ValeriTch »

Hi everyone! Thanks for interesting web-site!

But in the article http://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=Il ... on_Camillo pictures is not of real Tu-114.
In real Tu-114 doors was opened inward, and windows was bigger.

The '75' prefix in soviet tail number was used for Il (Ilyushin)-18. Tu-114 was registered as CCCP-764xx.

Hi Valeri !

Very interesting point you underlines !

Web databases give CCCP-75569 as an Ilyushin 18V.

The first screenshot is really a Tupolev 114 (registration CCCP-L5611).
The next ones are probably movie sets trying to copy the real plane. As often, they failed as this rear section doesn't suit with the Tu 114 as you stated nor the Il 18 !

(IMPDB page modified).
