Piper plane ride

Post by tleeg »

My buddy took me up in his Piper PA-28-161 plane a little while ago. Got to fly it too which was cool.

Heya tleeg,
I flew in VH-RQM yesterday and it was my first lesson.
I’m an ex Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (10 years ago) and thought it’s time that I took to the skies.
Anyway, thought I’d write a note to say hi and might see you around at the club.
Kind regards and happy flying,

Jalen03

That is really cool Jalen03, I am glad you posted up! What made you decide to get take to the skies now? I dare say that is a better looking one. Any pictures by chance?

My brother-in-law is an aircraft mechanic. I am still trying to get him involved. Hard for him with his young family and little kids at the moment though. What made you leave the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer field?
