Used to cross the border into Zaire. It gets taken down by soldiers (for illegally crossing the border) firing surface-to-air heat-seeking rockets, however the characters manage to parachute out before a final rocket hits and destroys the DC-3.

Cessna 177 Cardinal

Seen in a small hangar at the airstrip the DC-3 takes off from.

Cessna 177 Cardinal.

Fokker F27 Friendship

This plane is seen burning in the sky at night whilst attempting a crash landing after meeting the same fate as the DC-3 (a run-in with the rocket-firing Zaire soldiers), and is later found in the jungle outside of Zinj. The shot of the burning plane crashing appears to be a model or possibly CGI.
