A shapeshifting alien lifeform found frozen in the ice in Antarctica wreaks havoc at a US scientific outpost.
Bell 206 JetRanger
Used by the surviving Norwegians to pursue the creature (in the guise of a sled dog) in the film's opening scene. Equipped with large pontoons for ice and snow landings.
The American team uses an identical helicopter, albeit with different insignia.
