The Boeing 314 was a long-range flying boat able to carry 77 passengers. It flew for the first time on June 7th, 1938 and entered service the following year. With the outbreak of World War 2, three of them were sold to the BOAC. Despite a successful carreer (the type was used several times by F. D. Roosevelt and W. Churchill for travels linked to main war conferences), the type was retired in 1948 due to technological progress and wartime surplus.
A total of 12 Boeing 314 were built between 1938 et 1941.
This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Boeing 314.
