Possibly a Lockheed Hudson used by Royal Canadian Air Force?
No. 119 Squadron RCAF used them for anti-submarine duty over the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Ocean around Nova Scotia where some of the filming was carried out.

Only 50% certain, needs confirmation, but visibly looks the same to me.

- I agree with the aircraft ID above. i also think that:

is the civilian version, Lockheed Model 14.
- Shifted the photos around a bit as well cos there's actually another different aircraft in there, notice the single vertical stabilizer.
