The serie is based on the personnal life of some pilots of the 332 Mira. Some actions are inside the air base and so the Mirage 2000 is seen from times to times. Look at the special section on the IMPDB forum to spot each airframe seen during the series.
On the flightline, we can see the aircraft coded 221 (at left). Close ups display 216, 218 and 242 in other scenes.
This one is armed with two Magic II (outboard) and two Super 530 D (inboard) with a fuel tank on the center line.
Several night scenes (with two F-16 on the left).
Probably the same aircraft.
Two of the eight Mirage 2000BG ready for take off alongside a Mirage 2000EG.
The Mirage F1 has been phased out of the the greek AF in june 2003.
Aircraft seems wearing the serial 4580 (or 4560 ?) under the windscreen but this aircraft is not given to be on the order of battle of the Greek Air Force.
On use by the SAR too in Ep. 36 and 39.
Seen in episode 36, several aircrafts among the 40 of the type in use by the Hellenic Air Force.
We can see clearly these tail codes : 63 / 64 / 69 / 74 / 75 / 90.
Ep. 36 and 37.
Seems to wear the orange colors of US civil contractor Erickson Air-Crane, on loan for forest firefighting.
On the right.
Two are hardly visible on the center left (on the right are three Mirage F1s).
The NF-5A type was retired in 2002.
Also among the posters of the squadron barrack's corridor.
Seen as a gate guard in episodes 02, 36, and 37.
Gate near the 28R runway at N 38.339651, E 23.576982.
During a talk, camera shot the two pilots alternatively. Coming back on the passenger, we have a glimpse on the nose -no more- of this Grumman HU-16B Albatross.
Among the derelic and decommissionned airframes park.
Episode 21. In the control tower, three models of a Dassault Mirage F1CG, a Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star and a Dassault Mirage 2000EG/EGM.
Episode 81. On the wall of the briefing room, a memory of the fightings of 1941.
Upper : Bf 109 G-2 trop (s/n 10639) Black 6 (now at the RAF Museum - Hendon, UK).
Bottom : one of the three airworthy Fireflies at the time.
Episode 81. English Electric Lightning upper the Eurofighter Typhoon.
Two aluminium desk models with probably a Sunderland.
Between the desk models of a Mirage F1 (left) and a Mirage 2000 (right), a wood trophy with the white prototype of the Rafale A.
As seen in episode 37.
Front cover of ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΗ ΑΕΡΟΠΟΡΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΝΑΥΤΙΚΟ No 48; despite the yellow title, it's really a picture of the Rafale.
Poster of the prototype of the Rafale B s/n 301, the only one with a two tone paint scheme.
Ep. 07 : a glimpse when the actor overviews a magazine.
Ep. 07 : on the cover.
