TV news helicopter pilot and World War 2 vet Harry Walker witnesses a bank robbery during which the thieves escape to a waiting getaway helicopter with a hostage. Determined to rescue her and stop the crooks, Harry ignores police warnings and pursues the villains doggedly with his Hughes 500 news chopper.

File footage of P-40s used during Harry's flashbacks, along with "dogfights" depicted with models, are from the 1942 movie Flying Tigers.
