The Beriev Be-12 is a Soviet turboprop-powered amphibious aircraft designed for anti-submarine and maritime patrol duties. The Be-12 was first flown on 18 October 1960. It saw extensive service until the end of twentieth century and a handfull airframes are still used by Ukrainian and Russian Navies.
Around 150 Beriev Be-12 airframes have been built.
