The Best Off Skyranger (or Sky Ranger) is a French-designed two-seat ultralight utility aircraft, produced by the Toulousian compagny : Best Off (since 1990). It is a high-wing conventional monoplane with tricycle undercarriage, and of fabric-covered tubular construction.

Due to several wins during World Ultralight Championships, and to satisfy customers, the Skyranger is also manufactured under licence by Aero Bravo in Brazil, SkyRanger Aircraft in the United States (as a kit), Aeros in Ukraine and at least 150 were built by Synairgie in France, too. Some 1,300 are flying throughout the world.

A more efficient variant with several aerodynamics refinments improving by 30 km/h (20 mph) the cruise speed was sold as the Nynja from 2009. The fin was deeper too overseeing the rudder.

The company ceased its activities in autumn 2016, few months after the death of its CEO and founder, Philippe Prevot (he was 57).

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Best Off Sky Ranger and Nynja.
