The Hughes 269 is a family of light utility helicopters produced between 1961 and 1983. It was developed initially as a light trainer helicopter for the U.S. Army known as the TH-55 Osage. The designation 'Model 300' was also used for later variants and this continued when Schweizer took over development and production, as the Schweizer 300C. After Schweizer was bought by Sikorsky in 2004, the 300C has been rebranded as the Sikorsky S-300

The Hughes 269 is a family of light utility helicopters produced between 1961 and 1983. It was developed initially as a light trainer helicopter for the U.S. Army known as the TH-55 Osage. The 269B was an enlarged variant for 3 people, marketed as the Hughes 300. Further development of the model resulted in the Hughes 300C.
