Nordavia (Russian: Нордавиа) came into existence in 1991, after Soviet monopoly Aeroflot was split into various smaller airlines. The company named “Архангельские воздушные линии” (“Arkhangelsk air lines”) was created out of former Arkhangelsk united flying squad. The regional airline continued to serve various destinations of Northeastern Russia out of Arkhangelsk Talagi airport. In 2004 it was re-purchased by Aeroflot, which re-branded it as “Aeroflot-Nord” and started making flights under its own code. However, after the deadly flight SU821 crash in Perm, Aeroflot suspended the code-sharing agreement and, to avoid associating its own name with SU821 accident, renamed the company into “Nordavia”. In 2011 the subsidiary was sold to “Nornikel” mining corporation.

As of today, the company continues to make flights to cities in Northeastern area, as well as Moscow-SVO and some Sothern Russia resort destinations such as Sochi or Anapa.

This page contains all films, TV series, and video games that feature aircraft of Nordavia.
