The Tupolev Tu-134 is a twin-engined Soviet airliner. It first flew in 1963 and was introduced into service in 1967. Although production ended in 1984, many examples are still in use today. The type has been popular as a VIP and business jet, with many nations operating the aircraft as a state transport.
