Wright-Bellanca WB-2 as seen in The Story of Aviation.

This single engine, high wing monoplane of the mid-twenties used for races, record flights and during a limited time, hope of C. Lindberg to be his plane for the Orteig Prize for a non-stop transatlantic flight. This aircraft was eventually destroyed in a hangar fire in 1934.
