Caudron or Caudron-Renault ?

I'm surprised the page was rebuilt with the name Caudron as the plane made its first flight in 1934. At that time, the company have been bought by Renault and their products named Caudron-Renault. LVCDC 04 mars 2013

Yes, I understand your reaction, and I should have explained why I made this modification page. If in some litteratures they are named as Caudron-Renault since the buying act of Caudron by Renault, in many other they are named as Caudron only. Moreover, it appears that the airplanes themselves were named as Caudron (Avions Caudron) C.XXX -----. Therefore, for a better harmonization I thought it was better to keep this designation.Sixcyl 00:00, 5 March 2013 (MST)

Alright. The most important is that we remain consistent. But if the company adorn the tailplane only with the CAUDRON title, their ads displayed CAUDRON-RENAULT !
Let's keep the shortest. LVCDC 05 mars 2013

I know, there is a gap between the adverts and what was displayed on the aircraft itself. But as I already mentioned and we can check, many litterature use the name of Caudron for all the production, maybe for the same reason as we do? Thanks.Sixcyl 12:50, 5 March 2013 (MST)
