Five times, french president General Charles de Gaulle has think to resign. Last time in may 1968. In june 1968, it tells his memoirs about this five critical times. The documentary displays footages of each caracteric period by archived news footage, some showing Charles de Gaulle at that time. As Chief of Free France then as president, he often used airplanes to travel or visit airbases. Several aircrafts are seen, mainly in the background (listing in order of apparition).
