Registration NC18100, c/n 1601. After testing, it was handed over to United in 1939 for airline trials.
Nakajima G5N
It settled on the American Douglas DC-4E airliner. Six airframes built.
Designed as a bomber, only four were put into service as long range transport for the Navy as Nakajima G5N2-L.
