Former Secret Service agent Matt Hunter, living a hermit-like lifestyle in the Florida Everglades, finds himself called back into action when Soviet mastermind Mikhal Rostov leads a massive terrorist attack against the United States.

Several of these are seen used throughout the film, both by the National Guard and by the terrorists posing as Guardsmen and US Army. Rostov's personal helicopter is one as well (the novelization says it was stolen and is carrying false US military livery).
