Links Between the Movie and the TV Series

According Wikipedia (*), "the film was shot simultaneously with the movie version. Some of the cuts taken by the television staff were used in the movie version."
From Nihon chinbotsu (1974-1975) we identify some common footage :
Takeoff of

  • the Boeing 707 of Cathay Pacific;
  • the Boeing 727 of China Airlines;
  • the Boeing 747 of JAL-Japan Air Lines

Here (the movie) seen through a TV screen but full screen on the TV Series !
Some helicopter action too : the Kawasaki-Vertol KV-107 and Bell UH-1 serial 41537.
