Lockheed F-104A Starfighter

Lockheed F-104A-1-LO serial 56-0736 c/n 183-1024. Given to be converted to QF-104 and on strengh of the 3205th Drone Squadron, Eglin AFB (Florida) in 1964.
Acting as the Rhodes XF-109 prototype during a test flight (with live air-to-air missiles !). The real intended XF-109 (the Bell D-188A) never proceeded past the mock-up stage.
