The Detectives was a British comedy series about incompetent detectives Bob Louis and Dave Briggs who are capable of messing up the simplest of tasks much to the chagrin of their boss Superintendent Cottam. However, they manage to cling on to their jobs as they tend to get their man usually more by accident than design.

In 3.02 'Flash' this model of Concorde was seen in the background during a shot of police vehicles driving away from Heathrow. In real life the model of Concorde was placed in the space outside Heathrow to advertise British Airways prior to it's removal in 2007.
Boeing 737
In Episode 3.05 Briggs and Louis win a holiday in Gibraltar. This land and disembark from this aircraft.
This second plane (possibly the same again) is seen when they walk across the runway as the plane is about to tax down the runway
Unidentified Aircraft
In Episode 5.07 'Go West Old Man' Briggs and Louis travel to Canada to track down Superintendent Cottam who has emigrated unexpectedly. This jet is shown landing at the airport supposedly carrying Briggs and Louis.
