Beechcraft GB-1 Traveler, a Model 17 Staggerwing used by the U.S. Navy.

The Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing is an American biplane for a pilot and three or four passengers. The firqt design by the new company has a lower wing farther forward than the upper wing with an atypical negative wing stagger. A range of ten engines was fitted through the production providing 285 to 710 horse power and so a cruise speed around 200 mph (325 km/h, 175 kn). All have a retractable undercarriage (but the handfull A series). 785 airframes left the production line, the first of them doing its maiden flight in 1932. Around two thirds were ordered by governments, military forces or were requisitioned during war.

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Beechcraft Model 17 Staggerwing.
