Dear Friends:

A few short years ago we created this message box on our home page, asking for your help to keep this site up and running. In that time, many of you have generously donated to our PayPal account and we are forever grateful. With your help, we've been able to make the necessary upgrades to our server to keep the site running more smoothly than ever!

The meager ad revenue generated by this site isn't sufficient to cover the annual cost of running the server, and we who manage it have never made money from it.

In an effort to continue serving the needs of aviation enthusiasts around the world, we continue to ask for donations to keep this site up and running. If you're still enjoying this website and would like to help us continue being the BEST site on the Internet for your aviation screenshot needs, please consider donating.

Thank you,
Tobin & Rush

The Fiat G.50 was an Italian military fighter designed by the Fiat Aviazione company just before the Second World War. After a first flight on 26 February 1937, the type was quickly pressed into service and sent in Spain for operational testing. There, the dozen G.50s proved to be extremely maneuverable and their two Breda-SAFAT 12.7-mm machine guns could be impressive. But when Italia went to war in June 1940, the type was already underpowered and with an unsufficient top speed. This hampered the Fiat fighter facing new Allied designs but manned by decided and well trained pilots, the machine could be very valuable as the Finnish pilots proved it with an incredible ratio victory/loss of 33/1.

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Fiat G.50.
