Lioré et Olivier LeO 213 seen in Méphisto.

The Lioré et Olivier LeO 21 was a 1920s French biplane airliner based on the earlier Lioré et Olivier LéO 20 night bomber. Three variants left the factory from 1926. As Air Union merged in October 1933 with several airlines into the new Air France company, the surviving airframe worn the new logo and name for a short time. The type was actually old and had low performance leading the type to be sold to the new (Franch) Armée de l'Air which needed deseperatly a transport plane. Upgraded to military standard as LeO 214, this swansong lasted not long before the last flight occured in 1935/1936.
