Schleicher ASK 13 seen in The Adventurer.
The ASK 13 is a two-seater glider that was built by Alexander Schleicher. It was and still is widely used for ab-initio training of glider pilots. First flight in summer 1966. The very first airframes has a landing skid now replace by a wheel. The 6 degree forward sweep of the wing and horizontal stabilisator ahead the vertical one make the ASK 13 easily identifiable.
Over 700 ASK 13 have been buit.
