The Supermarine Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter used by Allied forces, primarily the Royal Air Force, throughout World War II. It featured a single, four-bladed, propeller engine and its distinctive elliptical wing planform. It was built from 1938 to 1948, and remained in service until 1961, with the Irish Air Corps. As well as a fighter aircraft it was used in various roles after the War.
This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Supermarine Spitfire.
