Tomashevich Pegasus seen in Wings of Russia (page 2).

The Tomashevich Pegasus was a Soviet prototype to counter German tanks and dedicated to ground attack. The goal was an easy-to-built and cheap aircraft like the Polikarpov U-2 but with better armour for the single crew. Fitted with a fixed landing gear, the underpowered airframe was not so easy to handle (the hope was to put on controls young pilots freshly graduated) and despite an operational test at Kursk in 1943, the project was canceled for more U-2s and Ilyushin Il-2 Sturmovik.

Only four prototypes of the Tomashevich Pegasus were built.

This page lists all films that feature the Tomashevich Pegasus.
