Billionaire InGen CEO John Hammond founds Jurassic Park, a zoo on an island where people can come and view living dinosaurs, cloned by InGen's scientists from blood found in mosquitoes fossilized in amber. Hammond invites two paleontologists, a "chaotician," a lawyer from InGen's investors, and his grandchildren to visit the island as its very first guests. However a disgruntled employee sabotages Jurassic Park's security systems, unleashing the dinosaurs on the unprepared visitors.
