A rescue goes terribly wrong for a sheriff when trying to save four dirt bikers when they are trapped by growing forest fires. Desperate, they seek shelter in an abandoned mine, never realizing they are headed straight for evil from the sheriff's past.

Canadair CL-215 (CGI to display a CL-415)
French Canadair CL-215 modified by some digital add-ons (winglet, auxiliary fins) and editings (engine, markings) to act as a Spanish Canadair (flying against a forest fire in the Minesota -as seen on the fire truck !- according the screenplay).
Note the lacking of the bullet fin/tailplane fairing found on CL-215T and CL-415.
The same aircraft features the cross of St. Andrew on the rudder but the lack of the four digit code split by the roundel of the Spanish fleet. On the contrary, the french Canadair fleet had just two big digit and no roundel on the rear fuselage.
Registration F-ZBBV and the black zone on the leading edge betray the original machine : Canadair CL-215-1A10 c/n 1046 used by the French Sécurité Civile. This airframe is on display at Le Mémorial des Soldats du Feu (or Museum of Aviation) in Saint-Victoret since 2005 (South of France, near Marignane and Marseille). One more time, digital editing had modified engines and now added the water dropping (not very realistic).
