The Alouette?

Rotorspot identifies JA9003 as belonging to an SNCA Sud-Est 3130 Alouette II, not a Sud Aviation one. Which is it? Or are they the same company? Kooshmeister 13:45, 6 March 2013 (MST)

Alouette II earliest production began under the brand name SNCASE (Société Nationale de Construction Aéronautique du Sud-Est) until the merge of SNCASE with the other state-owned company SNCASO (Sud-Ouest) in 1957, who bread Sud Aviation. So this might be an early produced Alouette II.Sixcyl 14:01, 6 March 2013 (MST)

The deliveries as SNCASE SE 3130 Alouette II has concerned few samples built between May 1956 to March 1957, all for the French Armée de l'Air, first customer of the aircraft. After 1957, SNCASE name was dropped and the aircraft deliveries were done under the new brand Sud Aviation, though the model type SE 3130 remained active till 1967, then became SA 313, as the SA 318 produced since 1965. The first Alouette II delivered to japan was in 1961, therefore JA9003 can't be anything else than Sud Aviation SE 3130 Alouette II.
