Misidentification

I first identified a Nord 1500 Griffon II on the wall... without understanding why the chief of public relation would have such picture as Dassault has nothing to do with this project.

I have had forgotten that the Mystère IVN (which had a similar layout to the F-86D) was used -in the last stages of its life- as a flying testbed for the Aïda radar (later used on the Dassault Etendard). This is the configuration shown on the wall, with this pointed nose (and so, not a Griffon II which has a canard [not seen on this screenshot ; now you know why !]).

By the way, the four pictures displaying such lot of memories has been upgraded with a bigger ones. LVCDC 07:51, 18 August 2014 (MDT)
