2023 : a more complete review has be done and has reach an end (+50% aircraft types added, all registration but one identified by new screnshot).
Our readers will have to excuse the fact that we missed these two (short ?) sequences during the 13 hours of viewing :

NOT in Ep. 14 Full Fathom Five
Luchthaven Schiphol. At least a Sud Aviation SE 210 Caravelle III from Air France in the center. Probably a Douglas DC-8 of SAS-Scandinavian Airlines System in the background and at left, a McDonnell Douglas DC-9 from KLM.

Airports

Throughout the series, Gene Bradley is travelling all around the world, sometimes himself at the controls. To locate the action, several episode used short footage of the airport which are an interesting account of the 1965-1972 period (but sometimes, it's just a (anonymous) set in which Gene is calling from Bangkok or Dehli).
Here are the different identified airport :

  • Beirut (just a stock footage to name the place but all is filmed in studios).

Maṭār Bayrūt Rafīq al-Ḥarīrī ad-Dwaliyy / Beirut International Airport (BEI/OLBA) as seen in Ep. 07 Love Always, Magda.

Ep. 15 I'll Get There Sometime

Only this close up spot on the main terminal.
  • Unidentified place in Ep. 18 :

  • Ep. 20 Double Exposure.

Control tower with administration building of the mid 1960s at Luchthaven Schiphol (IATA: AMS, ICAO: EHAM).

Episodes titles

Added Ep.xx Titles Sixcyl 13:40, 5 January 2014 (MST)

Pix of Ep. 7 are in fact from Ep. 6 ;
Ep.11 is really #10 ...
Ep. 2 and 5 where inverted;
Ep. 3 is really "Love Always, Magda", the 7th one;
not Ep. 12 but 09 "Deadlock";
Based on title seen on each video. Fixed for those named above. What about the other episode (11 to last one) ?

Full series renamed from episode title and then renumbered according wikipedia. For our friends of IMCDB, this is far away the numbering used on their other favourite website. LVCDC (talk) 05:29, 25 June 2023 (MDT)
