Unidentified Seaplane

-Movie filmed in North Queensland, Australia. Near the usual harbor where VH-KKD spents the nights on a floating platform in the Marina at Nelly Bay (at least during the summer 2007).<br>
-Built in America in 1964, c/n 286<br>
-Imported to Australia in 1970<br>
-Converted to carry 2 passengers in 1982<br>
-Converted to floats in 1992<br>
-Renamed a Grumman Seacat<br>
-Data from : http://www.redbaronseaplanes.com.au/content/grumman-g-164-agcat <br>
-But VH-KKD has a full red vertical stabilizer and no black square on wingtips.<br>
-Please note that the same model but c/n 318 VH-CCK has a paint scheme more matching (vertical stabilizer and wingtips).<br>
