French title : Laurel et Hardy conscrits

Starring:

Oliver Hardy (Ollie)
Jean Parker (Georgette)
Reginald Gardiner (Captain Francois)

In Paris, Ollie falls in love of Georgette who rejects him. Ready to commit suicide in the Seine River, he's stopped by a capptain of the Légion Etrangère. But once enlisted, in case Ollie forgets Georgette, they soon realize they need to escape such hard society.

K5265 : was struck off after taxiing into a bomb crater in the Sudan in 1941;
K7809 : according websites, this is a Gloster Gauntlet which crashed at take off in 1938;
K5272 : on 13 July 1938, undershot flare path and overturned. Soon after, written off.

Travel Air 6000 (Curtiss Wright 6-B)

Same aircraft in other movies at Frequently Seen Aircraft (Civil Fixed-Wing).
Used for aerobatics over the Los Angeles Metropolitan Airport (Van Nuys Airport nowadays).
