Volmer VJ-22 Sportsman

Registration NC8963 belonged to a Monocoupe 113.
A homebuilt Volmer VJ-22 Sportsman, with the usual flat-four engine replaced by a radial one. Another special feature of this 'anonymous' VJ-22 is the under-wing porthole, which the original plans did not include, since they were designed for two side-by-side seats.
This floatplane is anachronistic as the design was done in 1957 while the action takes place during World War Two.
