Dornier Do J II f Bos seen in Der Sommer 1939.

The Dornier Do J Wal ("whale") was a twin-engine German flying boat of the 1920s designed by Dornier Flugzeugwerke. The Do J was designated the Do 16 by the Reich Air Ministry (RLM) under its aircraft designation system of 1933. This successful airframe made its first flight on 6 November 1922 but the last to be retired was written from usage in 1950.

More 250 were built.

This page lists all films that feature a variation of the Dornier Do J.
