SNCASE SE.161/P7 Languedoc
Jeanne Moray is landing at Paris, coming from New York.
Languedoc were used mainly for middle haul flights, mainly with North Africa and Central Europa. But the type never crossed the North Atlantic Ocean.
Reg. F-BCUB SNCASE SE.161 Languedoc c/n 28 of Air France which crashed on 26 January 1948 during a training flight. Seen here landing with the far right propeller feathered.
But when the aircraft is taxiing, the four engines are running. Probably another airframe (which one ?).
Douglas DC-4-1009
Reg.F-BBDD Douglas DC-4-1009 c/n 42936 Ciel de Bourgogne of Air France.
Same aircraft in other movies at IMPDb: Frequently Seen Aircraft.
The type was really transoceanic. A little bit surprising that the director (or the editor) show us this aircraft with a tricycle landing gear just after the landing of the tail seater Languedoc.
