The Simpsons uses this Airbus A310-200 of fake airline AeroBrazil to fly from Springfield to Rio de Janeiro. However such a plane would never make it to Brazil from anywhere in the US.

'Plywood Pelican'

The Plywood Pelican was a large aircraft build by C. Montgomery Burns. It was completely build out of plywood. Homer, Grampa and Burns uses the plane to smuggle drugs from Canada into the US. The aircraft comes closes to the Hughes H-4 "Hercules".
