Miniseries (2010)
Starring:
Édgar Ramírez (Ilich Ramírez Sánchez ("Carlos"))
Alexander Scheer (Johannes Weinrich)
Nora von Waldstätten (Magdalena Kopp)
Christoph Bach (Hans-Joachim Klein ("Angie"))
The story of Venezuelan revolutionary Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, who founded a worldwide terrorist organization and raided the 1975 OPEC meeting.
Unidentified Aircraft
Bell 206B JetRanger III
Registration OE-BXT, c/n 4441 built in 1996.
McDonnell Douglas DC-9-51
This aircraft's exterior is painted as an Austrian Airlines DC-9-32 with registration OE-LBD, c/n 47524/632 built in 1971, which was the actual aircraft involved in Carlos the Jackal's 1975 siege of an OPEC meeting (picture here)...
...But in the cockpit we see that its actual registration is UR-CBY, making it a DC-9-51 with c/n 47773, built in 1978 and operated by UM Air.
McDonnell Douglas DC-9
We also see what seems to be archival footage of a different DC-9 taking off, as UR-CBY didn't have a black nose.
It is also portrayed by a CGI model when it lands in Tripoli, with the UR-CBY registration reversed.
Dassault Falcon 2000
Cessna 172 Skyhawk
Seen in the background.
Unidentified Aircraft
A couple of business jets seen in the reflection on the terminal windows.
And a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 taking off.
Airbus A300B4-203
Registration F-BVGG, c/n 019 built in 1975. Given as footage of Air France Flight 139, which was hijacked by Palestinian and German revolutionaries on 27 June 1976 and forced to land at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. The hostages were separated into two groups and all non-Israelis were released and flown to Paris. The remaining hostages were later freed by Israeli commandos on 4 July 1976. The event is the subject of Raid on Entebbe.
Unidentified Aircraft
Looks like the outer left JT-3D of a four engine airliner (DC-8 ? Boeing 707 ?).
Boeing 737-200
Airbus A320-232
In Middle East Airlines colors with the titles removed.
Hawker Siddeley HS.125.700A
Registration OD-MAS, c/n 257115 built in 1980.
