Cathy Timberlake is an old-fashioned country girl who meets the man of her dreams, Philip Shayne, after his Rolls Royce splashes her with mud on her way to a job interview. Philip is a romantic businessman who is taken by Cathy's honest heart. There's one problem: he's not interested in marriage, and she has never thought of anything else.

Registration N709PA, c/n 17588/3. First flight in May 1958. Delivered new to Pan Am-Pan American World Airways in August 1958, named Jet Clipper America. Inaugural jet Trans-Atlantic service on 10/26/58 from New York J F Kennedy International (KJFK/JFK) to Paris Le Bourget (LFPB/LBG). Incident on 25 Feb 1959 during crew training over France. During 2-engine out training aircraft entered spin tearing #4 engine off. Made safe landing at London Heathrow (EGLL/LHR) with 3 remaining engines. Renamed Jet Clipper Tradewind. Written off on 12/8/63 over Elkton, Maryland in a crash after lightning strike induced explosion (Pan Am flight 214).

Leased to THY-Turkish Airlines from June 1971 to November 1974, registered TC-JAM named Truva. Back to USA as N729JP, sold to Jet Power Inc. and re-registered N731JP in October 1975. Sold to Basna Air Services in March 1976.Leased to Aerovias Quisqueyana, re-registered N731BA in April 1976. Sold to MCA Leasing Corporation in January 1978, registered N427MA, then leased to Trans Panama. Leased to Air Express from January 1979 to August 1979. Broken-up at Miami International (KMIA/MIA) in July 1983.
