The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter is a Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) utility aircraft. It first flew in 1965 and is powered by two turbo-prop engines. The special abilities of the Twin Otter, including it's high rate of climb and fixed tri-cycle undercarriage have made it popular in a variety of different roles, including regional airliner operations and skydiving platforms.
