In 1.02 this is a top secret military prototype that the firm fear is going to be sold to the Russians.
Civilian Registration Registration N221SF. In reality, this aircraft was a protoype of an upgraded Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star that was offered for production but never progressed beyond that stage.

Hughes 369D

The typical bad guys helicopter. These appear in many episodes of the series, often the same birds reused.
The first appearance of a 369D is in 1.03 'Bite of the Jackal' used by forces sent to capture Airwolf.

Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker

This refueling rig appears twice in the episode as Airwolf refuels to get to Russia. The pilot and co-pilot speculate as to what the aircraft they are refueling is. At the end and to resolve a bet they ask another member of crew to check. When he tells them it is a helicopter they question his sanity.

Boeing-Stearman A75N1 (PT17)

Our first Stearman is seen in 1.06 'Echoes from the Past' flown by Peter MacGregor-Moore, a mercenary Hawke knows, who claims to have information on his long missing brother, Saint John.

Republic F-84F Thunderstreak

From 'Echoes of the Past': This is supposed to be a Libyan Airforce "MiGs" which is escorting the Hercules transporting Airwolf. When Airwolf escapes from the Hercules' cargohold they pursue and Airwolf blows it out of the sky.

Vought F4U Corsair

In 1.09 these rather old aircraft are used by the North Limbawe Air Force. They engage in a dogfight with the Hughes 369s seen in this episode. A similar aircraft (probably the same) attacks the twin-prop featured in 2.05 The Hunted. Both appear to be F4U-4s

Douglas C-133 Cargomaster

In 1.11 String needs to hide Airwolf from US military satellites used by D.G. Bogarde to hunt for it. His hiding place is an Aircraft Bone Yard (played by the bone yard at Mojave Air and Space Port). In this bone yard we can see a couple of scrapped C-133s. They appear to be N136AB and N136AR.
